Description:
Poly-coated paper is obtained by extrusion coating (lamination by extrusion) of low-density virgin polythene (LDPE) on a paper form.
The polythene works as a barrier, making this paper suitable for direct contact with food. That being so, poly-coated paper for counter use is suitable for the protection and preservation of fresh foods: meat, fish, cheeses, cold cuts and pizza, for a limited period and linked to the consumption of fresh food at room temperature. The use of it is excluded with hot food and in the oven. It is usable on reels on automatic machines.
Use:
It is suitable for ribbon packaging of Boeri chocolates and pralines even on automatic wrapping machines.
