Given the regulatory changes at an EU and national level in the field of packaging that is in direct contact with food, the F.lli Bertone SRL company has adopted the following measures to meet the mandatory requirements:
The company has all the needed authorizations and in particular: CPI (certification for prevention of fire), ASL conformity to standards, council authorizations, atmospheric emissions, rubbish and wastewater management.
Since 2000 it has a UNI EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System certified by SAI GLOBAL (according to EC regulation 2023/2006).
This system is integrated with the food safety management system, the traceability management system and the security and prevention management system, as required by GMP and GHP standards and the UNI EN ISO 22000 and 22005 and UNI EN 15593 technical rules, in accordance with legislative requirements of EC regulations 1935/2004, 2023/2006).
An integrated computer system guarantees the complete management of each single order, from the acquisition and the subsequent management in lots for the traceability of the whole production cycle, the issuing of the conformity declaration and the traceability of possible non-conformities at the address of the final recipient.
The company does not use process water in direct contact with the supplied products (or during treatments). The water used inside the company is however under the supervision of the local water network, the potability of the water is ensured at an institutional level, through periodic analysis, carried out by the competent authorities at a territorial level.
